This fall as usual OpenRules will participate in two major Business Rules and Decision Management events: DecisionCAMP-2014 and BBC-2014. DecisionCAMP is much smaller but more technical to compare with BBC that is now mainly oriented to business analysts. 

The DecisionCAMP will be held on Oct. 13-15 in San Jose, CA. It attracts many product and project architects who usually share deep implementation details – it’s almost not possible to pass through this highly interactive event with pure marketing messages. This year OpenRules, one of the organizers of the DecisionCAMP, will be referenced in 4 presentations:

1. The Decision Table Template for Geospatial Business Rules by Alex Karman of Revolutionary Machines, Inc.
2. DMN Case Study: Mortgage Recommender by Gil Ronen of RevVision Consulting
3. Using Rules-based GUI Framework to Power Dynamic Financial Applications by Erik Marutian of Bank of The West
4. Building Domain-Specific Decision Models by Jacob Feldman of OpenRules, Inc.

I will also participate in the CTO Panel and the Decision Management Challenge.

The BBC-2014 will be held on Nov. 2-6 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. OpenRules is sponsoring this largest annual Decision Management event (~1,500 attendees)  10 years in a row. The attendees may stop by at the OpenRules Exhibition booth to discuss any technical and licensing questions with our specialists. I will also present “Practical Techniques for Resolving Conflicts between Business Rules” on November 5.
